Nice place, nice vibe, nice surroundings, alot of spots for taking photos, nice arrangement, good maintenance.
Fun way of experiencing history and learn alot from the audio gadget. From stairway, rooms, paintings, even kitchen.

Highly recommended! The castle is located in a beautiful village with amazing trails all around it. We went with two kids (7,11) and the castle /museum is interactive enough and small enough to keep them both interested.
We had the occasion to visit the place twice now and both times there were special activities for kids that were great and highly appreciated.

The castle environment was wonderful I just enjoyed the nice weather it was sunny with cool breeze...an amazing place for visiting in weekend or weekday, there was wild flowers every where you can bring your bicycle or rent from ns app and ride between agriculture fileds and Lush plains , while the cold breeze caresses your face... ????????????????????

Very nice place. I was surprised to find such a nice castle close to Amsterdam. It took us 20 minutes from Amstelveen.

Cute castle near Amsterdam. The Muiden town has a nice village wibes with a canal front and cafes. The castle is free to visit with a museum card, you 2 free audio tours. There is a kids play area and there are sitting areas outside the castle. Overall a decent visit during summers.

Worth a visit. Great to see that Holland has its own castles. In a lovely area, very open. The great thing is that you can cycle from AMS city or even catch a train. It can get windy and cold. The castle itself is very well kept. Walk around the area as well.

Great trip from Amsterdam to the castle. We visited as part of group from river boat. Our guide was quite knowledgeable but you can get devices to explain the castle as well.

Lovely walk through the town created to gardens and then the buildings with lovely surrounding audio tour if needs be and cafe and shop
