I found the gardens a bit small, but they were still quite nice. The place honestly looked like paradise. Excellent selection of different plants and climates.

A lovely garden, a gem in the middle of the city. Different kinds of desert, tropical and other areas plants and flowers. Had there a wonderful time. We were only wishing it was bigger. Very much relaxing. Recommend!

We absolutely loved de hortus. A very cute place to go for a day date with your significant other. Stroll around enjoy all of the beautiful flowers and plants they have to offer as well as the various different climates. Make sure you check out the greenhouse filled with butterflies, and the nursery next door. They even have a greenhouse where you can taste some of the plants! There is so much to offer here as well as a tasty cafe to top it all off.

Really enjoyable experience, don't let it's size fool you, the temperate greenhouse is packed with specimens to see, the small winding paths between the plants are a nice touch that let's you get amongst the plants rather than just stick to pre planned pathway.

Friendly staff, good food and drinks, worth the admission.

Avoid the tourist traps visit places like this instead.

It is a garden with many kinds of plants. There is one coffee shop inside. A nice way of relaxing with some drinks.

We like a big glass house. There are many sections inside such as tropical zone which is quite warm and humid, desert zone which has cacti, etc.

Outdoor trees/ plants are alright. There is a small glass house with 2 kinds of butterflies.

There is also one souvenir shop next to the entrance.

Really nice garden to add to your list of places to visit. There's a cafe, gift shop and quite a few areas of the garden to visit. I really liked the little offset paths in the tropical house that allowed you to get closer, felt very peaceful.

Best Botanical I’ve been to. I love the green houses. They bring each section to life because you can really feel the different environment

I’m so glad we went to this botanical garden. It’s one of the oldest in the world. Did not disappoint! Small enough to do it all in a morning. Beautiful wildflowers, must go during the spring/summer.
