I had an amazing time exploring the Waterlooplein Market during my visit to Amsterdam. This market is a treasure trove of unique finds and authentic Dutch goods!

Thrift market with plenty of apparel, second-hand homeware, vinyls and collectibles. Most are in as-is condition, and accepts cash only. Great for browsing! Interesting selection of DVDs and literature.

Lots of different vendors with food and souvenirs.
Worth walking through.

I found a really nice Dutch made t-shirt there.
And delicious herring.

Huge variety...so many stalls! A wide variety of pricing from very cheap to collectible prices, some used or new. Clothing, shoes and sneakers for mostly adults, lots of souvenirs, Easy to get their by tram. A few food stands. Asian lady food vendor was very funny and entertaining! LOL. There was a fresh juice guy with lots of variety.

Iconic flea market with lots of vendors that have " something for everyone". Overall a nice way to spend an afternoon or morning browsing the eclectic variety of vendors. You should be careful though to watch for fakes sold as real items. Over the years I have found many items here that found a permanent place in my life.

incredible market, more clothes than you could imagine and for super cheap! lots of touristy gifts that are cheaper than in the city centre, incredible views of the canals and lots of food places nearby
