This grocer is the best place to grab a quick sandwich, snacks or drinks if you prefer not to go to a restaurant. Prices are reasonable and there is a good selection. The check out staff are very friendly.

Small supermarket but handy and in the center. Fresh fruits and vegetables and fresh bread. Great stop for a cheap meal, full prepared meals available or your everyday groceries.
A little chaotic but also with self service payment stations. Even fresh flowers for your new lover!

Just remember not all AH’s accept plastic as payment. I suggest to ask before filling up your basket.

Well stocked supermarket near Leidseplein. There is a wide selection of items across produce, cleaning supplies and snacks. However all the produce is wrapped in plastic and it's hard to tell what is organic. This may be consistent with other stores in Amsterdam but was a bit surprising to me given where I come from. Overall good store but wish produce was more fresh.
