Cool venue, we had a work event and had free drinks there.
Love the cafe part next to the water and terrace area.
Only comments would be:
Their drink options are not super varied, some drinks are "seasonal" so no hot chocolate or frappes in spring;
And inside the venue in May it was freezing all along!
Although they have heaters, those were not on - Didn't enjoy that at all!

In March this year we had the most amazing day of our lives at this beautiful wedding venue.

We rented both the Westerliefde and the Westergasterras and loved that the atmosphere of the day transitioned from a beautiful romantic ceremony in the WL, to a relaxed setting for the reception in the WGT, to a cool chic setting for dinner in the WL, to an atmospheric cocktail hour in the WGT and finally a really fun party in the WL. We couldn't have hoped for a better venue to do this!

The staff remembered all our little touches and were really lovely to our guests on the day and the food was incredible, such high quality even with 100 guests to serve!

Thank you so much and we couldn't recommend you any more to other guests considering the venue!

I got married in WesterLiefde in July 2022 and it’s been a fantastic experience.
The crew was very attentive to the needs of our guests and very reactive to our needs. The venue is absolutely beautiful!

My friends recently had a wedding at Westerliefde and I was a maid of honor and thus, I was involved in the organizational processes before and during the wedding. I got an absolutely great opinion about the venue and their amazing staff! It’s such a great team of professionals! Everyone was very helpful, friendly, polite and patient! The technician, bartenders, waiters- everybody was helping us with any requests immediately! Super service! A special thanks to Jip, the event manager of Westerliefde- she is a really nice person and a real professional! She organized everything very well and was super helpful! ???? Also, the food was really good, so the chefs are great too! I would highly recommend that place to have a great event! ????

This venue is suitable for those who like informal atmosphere and industrial style. Thanks to the beautiful backlights everywhere, it looks impressive on the photos.

We had our wedding here and fell in love with the venue as soon as we walked through the door. The Westerliefde was a perfect fit and had great flexibility, with the ceremony and party taking place in the Westerliefde and dinner in the Westerunie.

I don’t know where to start with the compliments but we were looked after incredibly well. We had a few changes along the way, which were never a problem and dealt with quickly by Larissa.

For the running of the wedding we were handed over to Alex, who filled us with confidence from the moment we met him. His effortless way made sure that we were able to enjoy the day without a single hiccup.

We had a 160 guests and from my own experience running events I know it’s not easy turning out a consistent meal. The food was fantastic, special mention going to the veggie option, lasagne.

Staff was great, attentive with a nice personal style! We could not have wished for a better day and a better venue, everything was impeccable.

Self service was a bit of a con, especially since it is a fairly large place with Fatboys and hard wooden chairs pretty spread out. A plus is water nearby and opportunity to get a tan on sunny days in combination with roof in case of rain. Mint tea was good.
