They have a new employee at Basic Fit Kerkenbos. He is very rude to the people and doesn't look professional at all with all the tattoos and golden teeths. Few days ago I saw him taking off his t-shirt in the gym and flexing in the mirror. There is no any policy in these gyms, specially when they hire j*nkies to work for them.

Extremely busy after work hours. Too little plates for barbell. Never see any staff cleaning or tidying up, people leave weights hanging all over the place. Horrible opening hours during the weekends. Every single place where you can do pull-ups are very greasy, nobody seems to actually clean them.

Pros:

Spacious gym

Modern equipment

Machines go up to a decently high weight

Large selection of dumbbells

A large selection of cardio equipment

Cons:

Too little free weights

People regularly remove the bars from the benching stations, rendering them useless and the staff doesn't seem to care

Too little weighted discs, it's often a hassle to gather the proper weights from all over the gym to load your bar

Machines don't go high enough for power lifting

Often crowded, especially at the free weights

Absolutely terrible weekend opening hours

One of the best Basic fit in Nijmegen. Not even close to the other one. All new, a lot place for everything, clean... Only it is a bit far from my home, but in summer time I will go more then now. Comparing to the one in Hattert omg - that one is closer but way to dirty and full.
