This grocery store is convenient, clean and right in the center of the city.

During a visit to the Netherlands, I came to this grocery store and had cart full of food items. I was disappointed to find out that for some reason, no credit cards or debit cards are accepted. That is very disappointing and I hope they start adopting to technology.

This Albert Heijn location was clean and spacious, and was very busy with shoppers at the time of my visit. The prices were reasonable and there was ample variety of products. The only downside was that my cards didn't work I had to pay cash due to their PS system at this location but that was fine.

Together with the Jumbo across the street, this place should provide you with all of the regular grocery shopping you need in the city centre.

Located right in the center of the city of
Groningen , it is an ideal location for those
who live in the area .
The store is very large and gives luxury to
those who frequent it daily .
The staff is always friendly .

This AH store is less compact compared to the one at the Vismarkt/Korenbeurs, I would say it is of medium size and it has a slightly bigger assortment. It has a good location near the Grote Markt and the rest of the city center. Parking space is limited though.

This chain is so outdated, and the least advance when it comes to payment technology.
They don't accept Visa or MC ! Unbelievable
