Truly amazing food and view. Staff is very friendly. Best place to dock around Armhem!
I come to eat here here whenever I am around with the boat, or by car. The owners are very sweet. The terrace has a beautiful view on the river and inside the restaurant it looks almost like a nautical museum. I love this decoration and atmosphere. Always glad to be back.

great people a real love for there work great surrounding. I had frog legs they where amazing. then steak again a amazing to think it could not get better a desert ice and chocolate was best of all
my wife have fish again the best we are traveling in our boat and it was quick stop but the best hope be back soon

We had a family dinner at Valkenburg last week to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday. To be honest I expected a more fancy setting but instead it turned out to be more humble but cozy. THEN came the food and the wine - and what a difference! It was simply royal - the quality, the taste and the aroma was mind blowing. Simply fantastic. I have eaten at many places around the world from streetside stalls to five stars restaurants - foodwis, the Valkenburg ranks very high on my list. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and my daughter was very pleased. Would I go there again? You bet I will. You'll only know what I am talking about when you've tried it. Nice spicy Turkish food. Great location. Friendly staff. A bit expensive. Building is worn out. Salad was not fresh.

Nice cauzy place. Good selection of foods. The restaurant decoration is very nice. There are many old style Dutch antiquities.

I thought it was unique...beautiful setting on river...good service and lovely food. They even let my dog come too!
